David Leblanc – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Leblanc serves as Chief Executive Officer at Avioserv since joining the Company in November 2010.
Prior to his current position at Avioserv, Mr. Leblanc was the Vice President of Finance at Aerothrust Corporation, where he also served as the President of Aerothrust Capital and the Managing Director of Aerothrust Leasing.
Mr. Leblanc has more than a decade of industry experience in the areas of finance and operations, as illustrated by his previous roles as an advisor of Boullioun Aviation Services, S.A.L.E. (now Bank of China Aviation) and Dubai Aerospace Enterprises. He also served as the Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer of POGO Jet, as well as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Leblanc served as a Managing Partner of Jet Capital from 1998 to 2004 and again from May 2005 to July 2005. While at Jet Capital, Mr. Leblanc, in a dual Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer role, restructured all operating, marketing, strategic and financial functions of SBS International (subsequently acquired by Boeing), which primarily provided scheduling software to the airline industry.
Mr. Leblanc also worked with First Equity Development as lead advisor on the sale of Atlantic Aviation to Legg Mason Merchant Banking Group. Additionally, he played a major role in the formation of FAVS through the merger of two leading aviation companies.
Mr. Leblanc earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Systems from Arizona State University and a Master of Management degree in both Finance and Strategy from the Yale School of Management. Mr. Leblanc also completed the advanced program in International Business with a Finance concentration from Arizona State University.
Cameron Burr – Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing
Mr. Burr serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing at Avioserv since joining the Company in November 2010.
Mr. Burr has more than a decade of industry experience in the areas of corporate development and finance. For instance, he held the prior positions of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Managing Director at Aerothrust Corporation in July 2009. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Burr also served at different times as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, Executive Vice President and President of POGO Jet, Inc.
Prior to his time at POGO Jet, Mr. Burr served as Managing Partner at Jet Capital, which he co-founded in 1992. His experience includes the restructuring of SBS International (subsequently acquired by Boeing), a leading provider of scheduling software to the airline industry, providing support services for aircraft leasing transactions, facilitating corporate refinancing and representing hedge funds on their aviation investments.
Mr. Burr received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Texas. He is also a member of the Wings Club based in New York.
Jennifer Bowman – Executive Vice President of Finance
Ms. Bowman serves as EVP of Finance at Avioserv. She has been with Avioserv for more than 10 years, serving as Controller and VP of Finance prior to her current position.
Ms. Bowman was integral in the acquisition of Avioserv from Willis Lease Finance Corporation (WLFC) in 2001, serving as the main liaison between the parent company in Switzerland and WLFC. During this time, she implemented a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and called for monthly financial reporting and controls.
Currently, Ms. Bowman also oversees all payroll and human resource (HR) functions, as well as inventory accuracy and reconciliations. In 2002, Ms. Bowman’s department assumed all HR functions from Avioserv’s then sister company, SR Technics America Palmdale. In this vein, Ms. Bowman was responsible for new procedures, systems, handbooks, policies, and management structures that are centered on performance and benefit.
Prior to joining Avioserv, Ms. Bowman served as Controller and Accounting Manager for Southern Pride Trucking (SPT), which provides jet engine transportation for airlines, MROs and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) throughout North America. Prior to SPT, Ms. Bowman served as Controller for BROG Inc.
Ms. Bowman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
Timothy Veit – Vice President of Operations and Sourcing
As Vice President of Operations and Sourcing at Avioserv, Tim Veit is responsible for all areas of operations. These include warehouse and distribution operations, materials and logistics planning, quality assurance, repair management, facilities management, and engine and aircraft procurement.
Mr. Veit joined Avioserv in August 2002. Prior to joining Avioserv, Mr. Veit spent eight years in manufacturing and distribution management. Six of those years were spent with Hancor, the largest plastic pipe-manufacturing company in North America. There, he held several management positions, including Manager of Distribution and Logistics, MRP II Project Manager, and Manager of Materials and Plant Operations. Prior to Hancor, Mr. Veit served as Distribution and Plant-Operations Manager for The Hillman Group, a leading manufacturer and distributor of small hardware products based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Since coming onboard with Avioserv, Mr. Veit has led the company’s efforts in implementing cross-functional work teams and reengineering the organization’s operational processes. In addition, Mr. Veit is the force behind Avioserv’s ability to source engines and aircraft (consigned or purchased), and is in front of the right people at the right companies daily to take advantage of market opportunities.
Tim Veit holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Aviation Management. Mr. Veit is also a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management from APICS
David Strockbine – Vice President of Sales and Leasing
Mr. Strockbine serves as VP of Sales and Leasing and is responsible for managing the Company’s main revenue-generating activities of engine and component parts sales and the engine leasing platform. Mr. Strockbine joined Avioserv in November 2010.
Prior to joining Avioserv, Mr. Strockbine served as a Director in the Technical Program Management / Sales & Marketing Division at the Pacific Gas Turbine Center, a subsidiary of the Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corporation.
Mr. Strockbine worked at United Airlines from 1986-1997, serving as a Maintenance Planning Coordinator from 1996-1997. Additionally, Mr. Strockbine worked as a Manager of Power Plant Maintenance at United from 1986-1996, where he managed and monitored a $100 million budget focused on cycle times and labor rates.
Mr. Strockbine holds an LM2500 Level 1-4 Maintenance Certificate, an Airframe and Power Plant License from the Teterboro School of Aeronautics and a Private Pilot License from Mercer County College. He completed a certification course in Lean Sigma – Manufacturing at San Diego State University. Mr. Strockbine also completed coursework at Skyline College and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at National University.
